7th May 2023 – From 12 noon
The Epsom Wells Community Association (EWCA) are hosting a Coronation Day Garden Party on 7th May from 12 noon. There will be lots of fun things to do including:
- Live music from the excellent Rafe Gregory Band who has kindly donated their time on the day.
- Kids fancy dress parade – all children are welcome to come dressed in their favourite fancy dress costume (adults can too if they like!).
- Face painting and hair braiding
- BBQ
- Cash bar
- Cake sale and competition (see below for details)
- Our fantastic garden party raffle – Draw will take place at 3pm.
- Plus more fun activities!
Please note all purchases will be cash only, so please bring plenty of change.

Cake competition
Calling all cake bakers. Enter your most excellent cakey creations to raise funds for the Epsom Wells Community Association to reopen the Wells Community Centre.
Rules of entry:
- Age – Any
- Individual or group entry
- Prize – £10 voucher, plus social media bragging rights on the EWCA channels and website (optional).
- Coronation Cake Competition entries (your cake) must be in place on the judging table by 12.45pm and the judges will start their difficult job at 1pm.
- Cakes will be judged on looks and taste, so your cake will need to be cut on the day. We are asking entrants to donate the remainder of their cut cake to EWCA for sale at the garden party.
- This is an outdoor event (there will be no refrigeration or food preparation space available), so please bear this in mind when creating your cake.
- The winner will be announced once judging is complete – a name, email and address will be required for the delivery of the prize.
